Mark successfully thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, backpacking 2,176 miles in six months from Maine to Georgia. He also cycled across America from the Pacific to the Atlantic, pedaling 4,500 miles in 90 days from Oregon to North Carolina.
Most recently he lived nine months on the road in a vintage Airstream trailer with his wife and two small children, traveling 29,825 miles to explore America’s state and national parks.
Mark is a digital marketing technologist with an MBA in technology commercialization. As an executive at iCiDIGITAL, he helps enterprise clients like Ingersoll Rand, Thermoking, and Panera align digital technology with strategy.
He co-presented at tech conferences with executives from Time Warner Cable, SAS, and NASCAR, advised IT leaders from US Intelligence, and published popular marketing research on Convince & Convert, Social Fresh, and CMO.com.
Mark published three books inspired by his most epic adventures, including thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, cycling across America, and backpacking the 100 Mile Wilderness.
His first book, Adventure Tales of Wayward, reached #17 on Amazon’s adventure travel best sellers list. He’s striving for top 10.
